After EXO members Suho, Chanyeol and D.O, it is Baekhyun who will be launching his acting career. The latest news suggests that the singer has been cast in kdrama show titled, "Moon Lovers." The show is a remake of a Chinese drama, and Baekhyun will appear as one of the heirs of an emperor.

Although the singer has appeared in a web drama earlier, this will be his first television show ever since he joined the popular Korean-Chinese band. Baekhyun debuted with SM Entertainment's boy band in 2012, and since then there has been no turning back.

The singer's kdrama show is a tale of a woman who travels back to the Qing dynasty. Since the show originally appeared in China, the producers will tweak the plot a bit to make it suit for a Korean audience, reports Soompi.

The website also reported that the show will include Lee Joon Gi and Kang Ha Neul. There has been no other news about the "Call me Baby" singer's role in the show.

Meanwhile, EXO member Xiumin thanked his fans for their overwhelming support for his web drama, "Fall in Challenge." The show garnered almost 20 million views after just 17 days of it's release. Xiumin's handwritten thank you note was posted on "Samsung's Facebook page". As expected, fans were delighted to be acknowledged by the EXO band member himself.
