Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer "Drishyam" had a decent fourth day at the box office in India. The thriller collected half of the amount on Monday compared to its opening day at the box office.

"Drishyam" four days box office collection now stands at Rs 34.08 crore in India.

"#Drishyam remained ROCK-STEADY on Monday. Weekend [incl paid previews on Thu] 30.03 cr, Mon 4.05 cr. Total: ₹ 34.08 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The film collected approximately Rs 8.05 crore (Friday and paid preview), Rs 9.40 crore on Saturday, Rs 12.58 crore on Sunday and Rs 4.05 crore on Monday.

Ajay-Tabu starrer has surpassed the lifetime box office collection of a few movies, including "Hamari Adhuri Kahani", "Bombay Velvet", "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!" and "NH10" among others.

Meanwhile, at the overseas box office the film has opened to decent response. "Drishyam" collected approximately Rs 2.52 crore from the overseas markets, including the US-Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysian box offices.

In other news, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has praised Nishikanth Kamath's directorial film "Drishyam".

After watching "Drishyam", Kejriwal tweeted saying that it's a must watch thriller drama.

"Watched "Drishyam". A must watch," he tweeted.

Even before the release of the film, BJP President Amit Shah wished Ajay for "Drishyam".

"Met actor @ajaydevgn today....my best wishes for his upcoming movie Drishyam," Shah tweeted.
