Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told CBSs Face the Nation that Hillary Clinton is constantly playing the woman card. Its the only way she may get elected. He also said, Personally, Im not sure that anybody else other than me is going to beat her. He added that the Democratic candidate and former Secretary of State is a flawed candidate.
And you see whats happened recently. And it hasnt been a very pretty picture for her or for Bill. Because Im the only one thats willing to talk about his problems. I mean, what he did and what he has gone through I think is frankly terrible, especially if she wants to play the woman card, said Trump.
Trump continued, You know, she is pandering. She is pandering to the public. And shes pandering to women. And when she did it with me, she talked about sexist. And I said, Me? I have more respect for women by far than Hillary Clinton has. And I will do more for women than Hillary Clinton will.
In the Republican race, the most recent Reuters/Ipsos national rolling five-day poll (issued on 24 December) shows Trump at 39.3%, followed by Ted Cruz at 12.8% and Ben Carson at 9.6%.
The survey found that Clinton leads the Democratic pack with 60% of possible support in the nominating contest. Sanders received 28% support and former Maryland governor Martin OMalley finished third with less than 4% possible support.
