Well, it is absolutely exciting news for every 90's kids. Guess what?

A new DuckTales animated series will be coming to Disney XD in 2017, announced by Disney.  Woo-oo!

DuckTales follows the life of Scrooge McDuck, his nephew Donald and three of his grandnephews, Huey, Dewie, and Louie and their tale of exploring of the world with their one and only pilot, Launchpad McQuack. This season Webbigail "Webby" Vanderquack might possibly be seen in the animated cartoon series. She appeared in the original series for a few times. We are expecting to see other significant characters from the original series including Magica DeSpell, butler Duckworth, Glomgold, and the Beagle Boys.

Created by Walt Disney Television Animation, DuckTales is an American animated series. It first premiered in September 1987 and finally ended in November 1990. It was compiled of total four seasons and 100 episodes. Ever since, the series has rerun on various networks.

According to Disney's announcement, the series reboot will premiere on television in the summer 2017. The first season will consist of 21 half-hour episodes and two one-hour specials.

DuckTales is originally adapted from the comics called Uncle Scrooge and other Duck universe comic series created by Carl Barks.

During the first announcement of the project in 2015, Marc Buhaj, Senior Vice President, Programming, and General Manager for Disney XD, said in a statement:

DuckTales has a special place in Disney's TV animation history, it drew its inspiration from Disney Legend Carl Barks' comic books and through its storytelling and artistic showmanship, set an enduring standard for animated entertainment that connects with both kids and adults. Our new series will bring that same energy and adventurous spirit to a new generation.
