Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone share a great equation but the actress stated that she can never ask the former to change the release date of "Dilwale" to avoid box office clash with "Bajirao Mastani".

SRK's "Dilwale" and Deepika's "Bajirao Mastani" will hit the theatres on the same date. There was a buzz that the actress approached SRK to push the release date of his upcoming release.

However, Deepika denied doing anything like that and asserted that such decisions are taken by the producers and directors. "The only thing you can do as an actor is do your part with honesty and conviction and leave the rest to the professionals like the producers and the director to take the call. I have a very personal equation with Shah Rukh. I would never do something like that," the actress told Times of India.

"When you are working on a film like 'Bajirao Mastani', you have very little time or headspace for even getting involved in something like that," she added.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Dilwale" features Shah Rukh, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon while, Deepika, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra teamed up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani". Both are set to be released on 18 December.
