After numerous Bollywood celebrities, the latest one to fall victim to an online death hoax is veteran actor Dilip Kumar.

The news of the actor's sudden demise started spreading on Twitter on 24 November, and it was being said that the actor, who has been ill for long time,  passed away at Lilawati Hospital in Mumbai.

The news started spreading like wild fire and soon twitter was flooded with messages about the actor's demise.

However, it later turned out that Kumar is in good health and the news is fake. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to his twitter handle to clarify about the actor's death rumours.

This is not the first time that the actor has been killed by online users. In September 2011, there was a rumour that Dilip Kumar was no more. Later, the yesteryear actor's wife Saira Banu issued a public statement clarifying that the actor is completely fine.
