Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding has been nothing short of a fairytale. The couple not only gave us a dreamy wedding but also some major couple goals. Though Deepika and Ranveer always maintained a stoic silence on their relationship, post their wedding, the couple has no qualms in sharing the details of their love life.
Now, in an interview, Deepika has revealed that Ranveer Singh was dating someone else at that point but that didn't stop him from being all flirty with her.
Talking about the same, Deepika Padukone said in an interview with Filmfare, "I was at YashRaj and he was there and he was flirting like it's nobody's business and he was dating somebody else at this point and I was smiling to myself and told him, 'You are flirting with me.'"
Further elaborating, she said, "Sir called us over for lunch and we were eating and apparently there was a piece of crab stuck in my tooth and he wanted to make me awkward and he said, 'Oh, there's a crab stuck in your mouth,' and I said, 'Then take it out'. That moment all three of us won't forget."
Talking about the first time he saw Deepika, Ranveer Singh said, "But my one takeaway from that meeting was 'how can anyone look like that'." However, Deepika remembers thinking that Ranveer was not her type the first time she saw him.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Italy's Lake Como in presence of just close friends and family members. The couple held multiple receptions in Bangalore and in Mumbai upon returning for other family members and industry folks.
