The release of Dharma Yogi, which is the Telugu version of actor Dhanush's Tamil movie Kodi, has been postponed. Meanwhile, Karthi's Kaashmora is set to get a big opening at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box office.

The dubbed version of two Tamil movies Kodi and Kaashmora are set to rock the AP/T box office this Diwali weekend, as there is no straight Telugu release. But the latest we hear is that the makers of Dharma Yogi have postponed its release by one day and sources from the industry say that it has been delayed due to technical reasons.

Idlebrain Jeevi, a leading film critic from Tollywood, tweeted: "Dhanush's #DharmaYogi postponed by a day from 28 to 29 Oct. advantage #Kaashmora on Friday!!"

Suresh Kondi, a reporter from TV channel V6 News, also tweeted: "Telugu version of @dhanushkraja's #Kodi (#DharmaYogi) is postponed by a day. It's Releasing on Oct 29th due to few technical issues."

Written and directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar, Kodi is a political thriller film and its promos have created a lot of curiosity among the Telugu film goers, who are eagerly waiting for its release. Trade experts predicted that its Telugu version Dharma Yogi would clash with the another dubbed film, Kaashmora. With its postponement, the Karthi-starrer is expected to get a superb opening at the box office.

However, Kaashmora, featuring Karthi, Nayantara and Sri Divya in the lead roles, is bigger than Kodi in terms of budget, hype, promotion and volume of release. The Gokul-directed dark fantasy film is expected to make a superb collection at the AP/T box office on its first day and become the biggest opener for Karthi in the states.
