There's no denying the fact that Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato have always been the best of friends. Their interviews and videos together vouched for the incredible bond the duo share. So, when the news of Nick Jonas' wedding with Priyanka Chopra surfaced, Demi was expected to not only gush with excitement but also attend their wedding festivities.
However, as per reports, Demi wasn't invited to the wedding at all, which has led to bad blood between the two. A few months prior to Priyanka – Nick wedding, Demi Lovato had been admitted to a hospital due to a drug overdose. She also had been sent to rehab to cope up with the entire scene.
Both, Priyanka and Nick, stood rock solid behind the singer during this phase. But, close friends have revealed that post this episode, the dynamic between the two has changed enormously and hence Lovato wasn't invited to the wedding.
Not just Lovato, we were also left disappointed by Shah Rukh Khan's absence from the bash. As per a Deccan Chronicle report, both Shah Rukh - Gauri and Priyanka – Nick came face-to-face at Isha Ambani's wedding reception and greeted each other warmly.
The report further mentions an actress saying, "I've never seen them speak to one another. But I guess the beautiful occasion, plus the fact that PeeCee is now Mrs Jonas, must have prompted Shah Rukh's innately gentlemanly nature to zip out of his heart. It was a very spontaneous gesture of warmth."
However, it was later reported that Shah Rukh had hosted a special screening of his movie, Zero, for close friends at his home in Mannat and thus couldn't attend Priyanka Chopra's wedding reception party in Mumbai.
