Chennaiyin FC have now lost their second game of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015. On Thursday, they were beaten by Delhi Dynamos 1-0 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

Marco Materazzi and his men have a lot to ponder over, before they play FC Goa in their next game. On the other hand, Roberto Carlos will be pretty happy as Dehli Dynamos registered their first win of ISL 2015. However, the Brazilian legend did admit he wants his side to improve their game in the next match.

"My team was very strong physically. We could have scored more goals. We were well positioned for all their attacks but we have to improve a lot and we will," Delhi Dynamos head coach Carlos said at the press conference.

Delhi Dynamos attacked with real menace in the first 15 minutes of the game. In the ninth minute, Gustavo Dos Santos showcased a nice run down the left wing, where he beat at least three defenders before flighting his cross in to Hans Mulder. Mulder's shot struck the hands of Manuele Blasi inside the penalty box and the referee straight away gave a penalty. Chicao scored from the spotkick and gave Delhi Dynamos that crucial lead in the 10th minute of the game.

After that, ball possession was mostly with Chennaiyin. They kept attacking, but they kept missing chances as well. There were so many opportunities created, but none were converted into a goal. Stiven Mendoza was the most liveliest player for Chennaiyn FC. One of his attempts struck the post and that was when Materazzi's men came closest to equalising.

"Delhi played really well in the first ten minutes. By the time we settled down, they were already ahead. It's always tough to get back after giving the lead so early," Chennaiyin FC assistant coach Vivek Nagul told the reporters at the post-match press conference.

"Marco [Materazzi] gave a pep talk at the break. We were very good in the second half. Had we not missed easy chances, we would have won the game."

Materazzi's star man Elano has not been at his best in this edition of the ISL so far. The very sight of him taking a freekick or coming close to the penalty box area sent shivers down the spines of the goalkeepers in the first season. But that has not happened in ISL 2015.

Elano has lost possession of the ball way too easily in the midfield area, even if his percentage of completed passes will reflect another story. But the forwards also have to support him so that they get back to winning ways quickly, before it is too late.
