After the release of her debut Hollywood film xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Deepika Padukone remained mum about her next international project, but now the director of xXx last movie has confirmed her second movie.
Deepika will return with Vin Diesel and other cast of xXx: Return of Xander Cage movie for the sequel. D. J. Caruso, the director of the film, took to his Twitter account to confirm Deepika is indeed onboard for the next instalment. He also confirmed that all the stars will return for the movie.

The news was confirmed when a fan asked Caruso about the update of the sequel. The director replied, "Yes meetings next week. Honing in on story and start dates." After his reply, a fan asked about the title and who all will be cast in the new project. In his reply, Caruso said that all would be back. Later, a fan especially asked the director about Deepika's return, to which the actor replied, "Oh yes."
Deepika made her Hollywood debut with xXx: Return of Xander Cage opposite Vin. She played the role of Serena Unger and fans loved her in the film.
xXx: Return of Xander Cage became a huge success at the global box office. The film is one of the biggest grossers at the worldwide box office with approximately $345 million income. xXx movie was an average hit at the US box office. However, the China box office collection took the earnings to the higher level.
Caruso's directorial is an action-adventure drama that also features Donnie Yen, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Rory McCann, Kris Wu, and Ariadna Gutiérrez.
