While Salman Khan has been vocal about his desire to work with actress Deepika Padukone, he might miss out on the opportunity yet again.

Though it was earlier said that Deepika was being considered for Sooraj Barjatiya's "Bade Bhaiya," which would see Salman reuniting with the famed director after years, the actress' schedule is reportedly extremely tight with dates being allotted to Imtiaz Ali's next, starring Ranbir Kapoor.

The family drama film which is set to be shot from June, is reportedly clashing with Deepika's allotted dates for Imitiaz's film, set for July shooting.

Much has been said about Deepika's awaited pairing with Salman. While the actress had previously said that a film with Salman will be a special one, the 48-year-old too has showered praises on the actress for her successful streak in 2013.

Not many know that the "Dabangg" star had first offered Deepika a break in Bollywood, but the actress had failed to take up the offer at that point.

As for now, a film with Salman may not be possible, but the "Chennai Express" actress might be paired opposite Aamir Khan soon, reported Mid Day. The duo is likely to come together in a Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Siddhwani production if things fall in place. The film will be on time travel; but the actors haven't been signed for the project yet.
