At a time when a lot of speculations are being made about Aamir Khan's dream project Mahabharata, an artist has come up with some sketches of popular stars, transformed into various characters of Mahabharata and Ramayana.

The artist re-imagined various characters from the two Hindu mythologies and brilliantly turned them into sketches. The pictures are available on Instagram handle named Bharat. The way the artist has put down the visual representation of the characters, Aamir can certainly take inspiration and finalise the cast of Mahabharata accordingly.

The artist reimagined the characters of Mahabharat taking stars like Deepika Padukone as Draupadi, Aamir Khan as Krishna, Farhan Akhtar as Arjuna, Arjun Rampal as Yudhisthira, Prabhas as Bheema, Vidyut Jammwal as Nakul, Ranveer Singh as Sahdev, Hrithik Roshan as Karna, Rekha as Kunti, Kamal Haasan as Shantanu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Ganga, Amitabh Bachchan as Bhisma, Vidya Balan as Satyavati, Ajay Devgn as Duryodhana, Abhishek Bachchan as Dussasana, Gulshan Grover as Shakuni and Rajinikanth as Dronacharya.

For characters of Ramayana, the person depicted actors like Radhika Apte as Sita, Hrithik Roshan as Rama, Ranbir Kapoor as Lakshmana, Salman Khan as Hanumana, Farhan Akhtar as Bharata, Aditya Roy Kapur as Shatrughana, Ranveer Singh as Meghnada, Amitabh Bachchan as Dasaratha, Rekha as Kaikeyi, Ila Arun as Manthara, Rana Daggubati as Bali, Prabhas as Sugriva, Varun Dhawan as Angada, Rajinikanth as Ravana, Sanjay Dutt as Kumbhakarana, Anil Kapoor as Vibhisana and Kangana Ranaut as Surpanakha.

Just a few days ago, there were some reports stating that Aamir has started working on his project Mahabharata. It was also reported that the actor had approached Prabhas for the role of Arjuna.

Reports stated that the movie will be made in three parts on a budget of Rs 1,000 crore. While initial reports had stated that business tycoon Mukesh Ambani would produce the film, some recent reports claimed that a Chinese company had expressed a desire to co-produce the mega venture. Nonetheless, there has not been any official confirmation on the making of Mahabharata.
