Bollywood bigwigs including Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and others met Information & Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore in Mumbai on Monday.
Interestingly, Ranveer Singh's alleged girlfriend Deepika and his ex, Anushka, bonded well at the meeting and were also seen greeting each other with hugs. Deepika, even, planted a kiss on the "NH10" actress' cheeks.
Recently, during a promotion event of "NH10", Anushka even supported Deepika's depression issues and said that she is doing a great job.
"When Deepika spoke about her depression, people wrote so many things about her. She was doing it for a larger cause. Catherine Zeta Jones is dealing with bipolar disorder. Do people write such things about her? She had the decency and the dignity to talk about it openly because she was doing it for a larger cause," she said.
Fans will be happy to see that the two leading actresses of B-Town won't give cold vibes to each other because of their life's common string, Ranveer Singh. The "PK" actress will also be seen romancing Ranveer in Zoya Akhtar's next, "Dil Dhadakne Do."
Meanwhile, the two beauties were seen having a good time together at the I&B Ministry meeting, regarding censorship issues as several films, from "NH10" to "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" to "PK", faced troubles due to the intervention of Central Board of Film Certification.
Celebs including Riteish Deshmukh, Ekta Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Gulzar, Shabana Azmi, Rajkumar Hirani, Kiran Rao, Mukesh Bhatt and Anurag Kashyap attended the meeting.
