"Criminal Minds" season 11 is just a couple of days away from its premiere and it looks like news from the sets continues to give out clues about the upcoming season. The latest reports confirm details about two new guest appearances in the series.

Well, it has already been confirmed that season 11 will witness various guest appearances by well-known faces to fill in the void created by the departure of Jennifer Love Hewitt and the temporary absence of AJ Cook. And now, it looks like the makers are keeping their promise.

Fans can now look forward to appearances by Tim Kang of "The Mentalist" and "Teen Wolf" sensation Marisol Nichols. According to the Latin Post, both Kang and Nichols will be featured in episode 2 of "Criminal Minds" season 11, to be aired on 7 October.

The report said that the synopsis of the episode titled "The Witness" reveals that Nichols will play an FBI agent who helps the BAU in preventing a vast attack on Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Kang will play a medical supply worker.

The episode synopsis, according to the website reads: "When a Los Angeles bus is attacked with sarin gas, the BAU must act quickly to find the suspect before a larger-scale incident occurs, on "Criminal Minds", Wednesday, Oct. 7 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Guest stars include Marisol Nichols (NCIS, '24') as FBI Agent Natalie Colfax, who assists the BAU with the investigation, and Tim Kang ('The Mentalist') as Charlie Senerak, a medical supply worker."

The website further reported that a photo of the upcoming episode confirms Nichols' appearance as he is seen in his character as the FBI agent, talking to Dr. Tara Lewis and Derek Morgan.
