After "Saraswatichandra" actress Jennifer Winget rubbished rumours of an alleged rift between her and husband Karan Singh Grover, it was believed that the split is nothing but just another gossip.
However, according to fresh reports, the couple has officially parted ways and is busy with their respective projects.
"Jennifer is currently shooting for Kunal Kohli's film in London and has requested not to be disturbed. Jennifer has also requested for implicit privacy at this stage in her life," The Times of India quoted an official statement issued by the actress' publicist.
Apparently, the two were living separately and because Winget wanted their marriage to work, she held on to the last straw, maintaining on social media that everything was fine between the two.
"Karan is infamous for his philandering ways. Jennifer was so fed up that she started living separately, but she wanted her marriage to work. However, Karan told her clearly that he doesn't believe in the institution of marriage and wants to be a free bird," an insider revealed to the daily, adding that since the actor fears commitment, he has vowed not to remarry.
"He is commitment-phobic. In fact, he told his close buddies who tried to intervene that he will not marry again. Even Karan's parents, who love Jennifer, tried to convince him, but in vain."
After the surprised yacht party for the husband and some harmless PDA at an award function, this shocking piece of news is for sure hard to digest.
Grover and Winget entered wedlock in 2012, and it was only last year that the former had really adorable things to say about his married life with the TV actress.
"I think I am a little more sorted. I am in control of myself, which is a good thing. I understand that there are boundaries and limitations. I am a more family person now...since I'm married," Bollywood Life quoted Grover as saying.
