A former Islamic State militant, who worked as a bodyguard of a notorious ISIS commander, has revealed the top-leaders of the group do not really believe in any Islamic principles but only want to fill their coffers, for which they will even behead children right before the eyes of their parents.

A bodyguard of Saddam Jamal, identified only as Abu Abdullah, told The Daily Telegraph in an exclusive interview that his boss, who was a former drug dealer and an FSA commander before joining the ISIS, took lives as a part of business deals and not for spreading Islam.

Saddam Jamal, who rose fast in the ranks of the Islamic State, was a part of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) but he defected when he saw that his 'business' would flourish under ISIS.

The bodyguard shared several stories of his former boss who targeted rich Syrians and even destroyed their families for personal gains.

In one particular incident, Abdullah said Jamal beheaded all the sons of a Syrian man. "Starting with a thirteen-year-old boy, they lined up the sons according to their height and beheaded them in that order," said the bodyguard.

They forced the mother and father to watch his men executing their children, Abdullah added.

"Afterwards, they hung the boys' heads on the door of the school the family had been hiding in."

The former ISIS bodyguard told the UK Daily that for Jamal being an ISIS fighter was not about a higher calling but all about obtaining more power.

"There are, of course, some who really believe that killing and whipping is the correct way to spread Islam," he told The Daily Telegraph. "But for Jamal, he doesn't really care if the mission spreads Islam. All he cares about is becoming more powerful. Now, if a stronger organisation emerges, he will join it. And there are lots of men in Isil just like him."

ISIS Leaders are Corrupt

The revelations made by the former ISIS bodyguard Abdullah once again confirms the fears that ISIS leaders are governed by power and religious zeal is just a cover to further their selfish ambitions.

"They kidnap and carry out assassinations," said Abdullah, who noted that his boss Jamal copied his fellow "emirs" in ISIS.

They controlled their territory through force, fear and hypocrisy, he added. "They think nothing of bringing down a whole building with women and children inside, just to kill one person.

"A lot of their local and foreign fighters smoke but if they ever catch a civilian doing the same they lock him up, whip him and force them into community service. Why the double standards?"

Reports confirm that Jamal is a top ranking commander and second in command for ISIS military affairs, after Chechen "Ginger Jihadist" Abu Omar al-Shishani.

There are several such terrible stories, including that of another ISIS commander making his 8-year old son slit the throat of a rival member. "It would take days to recount to you the violence I witnessed," said Abdullah.
