Puri Jagannath is indeed directing Chiranjeevi's 150th film "Auto Johnny", contrary to rumours that he has been replaced by VV Vinayak.

The director has completed writing the first half of the film and megastar Chiranjeevi is happy with it, Jagannath has tweeted.

Rumours were rife that megastar Chiranjeevi was unhappy with the way Jagannath was announcing one film after the other, as Chiranjeevi wanted his comeback film "Auto Johnny" to be perfect. Jagannath's slew of new projects reportedly made Chiranjeevi doubt his commitment to "Auto Johnny".

The trigger for rumours of a new director replacing Jagannath was the meeting that took place between Chiranjeevi and VV Vinayak on Thursday, reported Deccan Chronicle.

But Puri Jagannath, who is basking in the success of his latest venture "Jyothi Lakshmi", was upset over the rumours and took to his Twitter handle to clear them.

On 13 June, he tweeted, "Just narrated 1st half to Megastar nd am happy he's thrilled..I want to work very hard to make 2nd half 10times better".

Puri Jagannath was busy with the production of "Jyothi Lakshmi", which was released worldwide on 12 June. He was to take up Chiranjeevi's 150 movie after the release of "Jyothi Lakshmi".

But the announcement of two new projects by Jagannath with Mahesh Babu and Nithiin irked Chiranjeevi fans who were eagerly awaiting their star's 150th film, besides leading to speculations that Vinayak might replace Jagannath in "Auto Johnny".

With Puri's tweet, Mega fans are now happy.
