Chinese New Year celebrations have began all around the world.
Chinese communities around the world have come together to celebrate the colourful annual spring festival, which marks the year of the goat.
The 40-day festival, which begins on Thursday, 19 February, is celebrated in Mainland China, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Macau, Mauritius, Thailand and in other Chinatowns.
Various parades, dragon dances, huge fireworks displays, gift exchanges took place in various parts of the world as part of the annual festival.
