A man luckily survived after being trapped under a truck and dragged for over 10m in east Chinas Anhui Province. The man, who was riding an electric bicycle on an icy road in Nanling County, Wuhucity, fell down when trying to avoid the truck coming from the other lane toward him when overtaking.
The truck, failing to stop, dragged the man and his electric bicycle for 10 meters under the front wheels and stopped after hitting the bridge guardrail. To everybodys surprise, the man was barely injured and quickly crawled from underneath the truck.
I saw the truck overtaking and rushing toward me, so I turned aside and fell down because of the icy road, said the cyclist, named Cheng, when receiving treatment in Gejishan Hospital in Wuhu. Cheng did, however, have one of his fingers amputated after the accident.
