Happy Children's Day 2015.

It is that day of the year when children all over India celebrate their special day coinciding with the birth anniversary of first Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

Nehru's birth anniversary on 14 November is celebrated as children's day every year as he is known for his love for children.

Search engine giant Google has released a special Children's day doodle that says 'Create Something for India' designed by P Karthik from Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Andhra Pradesh, as part of Doodle 4 Google 2015 contest.

The doodle shows a plastic to earth machine. Explaining the idea, Karthik told IBN Live: "This mega machine recycles all the waste plastic from our country and make it into a material which helps the growth of mother nature. This machine will turn the most powerful evil plastic into green."

Meanwhile, Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and celebs like Mammootty, Shweta Mohan, Pearle Maaney have wished kids on their special day as well as paid tributes to Nehru.

Many celebs have also shared their childhood photos on social media handles.
