Four medium budget Telugu movies -- Chi La Sow, Goodachari, Brand Babu and Tharuvatha Evaru -- are set to clash at the box office this weekend on August 3.
Chi La Sow is a romantic comedy movie that marks the debut of Rahul Ravindran as a director and the writer of the dialogue, story and screenplay. Sushanth and Ruhani Sharma play the lead roles in the movie, while Vennela Kishore, Anu Hassan, Rahul Ramakrishna, Sanjay Swaroop and Vidyullekha Raman can be seen in the supporting cast.
Chi La Sow has Prashanth Vihari's music, M Sukumar's cinematography, Chota K Prasad's editing, Vinod Varma's art direction and Shravya Varma designing the costumes. Jaswanth Nadipalli has bankrolled the film with Tollywood star Nagarjuna Akkineni.
Samantha, Naga Chaitanya and a few other celebrities have helped the makers in its promotional activities, thus reaching out to a larger number of audience. It is said to be the most-hyped film among the four releases.

Goodachari is a spy thriller flick that revolves around the story of a spy who operates both in India and abroad. Adivi Sesh and Sobhita Dhulipala are playing the lead roles and actors like Prakash Raj, Madhu Shalini and Ravi Prakash are playing the supporting roles. The movie is written by Adivi Sesh and Abburi Ravi. The spy thriller is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by film distributors Abhishek Pictures.
The promos of Goodachari have struck a chord with the viewers and has created a lot of curiosity among film-goers. The movie has Sricharan Pakala's music, Shaneil Deo's cinematography and Garry Bh's editing. Among the four releases, it is expected to be the next big release after Chi La Sow this weekend, in terms of star power, hype and promotion.

Brand Babu is a psychological drama that is directed by P Prabhakar, written by Maruthi Dasari and produced by Shailendra Babu. Sumanth Shailendra and Eesha Rebba are playing the lead roles, while Murli Sharma, Sai Kumar, Nalini, Satyam Rajesh, Pujita Ponnada, Raja Ravindra, Venu Tillu and Kotesh Manava appear in supporting cast. The film has JB's music and Palani Karthik's camera work.

Tharuvatha Evaru is a horror thriller movie and Rajesh Koduru has co-directed it with Krishan Prasad. The film produced by Lakshmi Reddy stars Kamal Kamaraju, Priyanka Sharma, Yashika and Manoj playing the lead roles in the movie. It has Vijay Kurakula's music and Rajendra Kesani's cinematography. This film lacks the hype and promotion, when compared to three other movies.

All the four movies belong to different genres and they will cater to all kinds of moviegoers. But Chi La Sow will lead the box office as it has a bigger reach as compared to the other three releases. Goodachari is also expected to fare well at the ticket counters. It should be seen how Brand Babu and Tharuvatha Evaru ill perform at the ticket windows.
