Two of India's former star cricketers -- Virender Sehwag and Navjot Singh Sidhu -- share their birthday on October 20. Both were impressive opening batsmen during their days on the field and after cricket, both ventured into the domain of comedy.

While Sidhu has been seen donning the cricket expert's hat for many years and has also been seen judging comedy shows like The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS), Sehwag, too, is making a name for himself in the comedy circuit with his catchy one-liners and striking style of humour on Twitter. Also, the Nawab of Najafgarh has donned the cricket commentator's hat on several occasions and has bowled over his fans with his one liners.

The two individuals, with almost a similar career graph, born on the same date, is nothing but coincidental. Users on Twitter have been having a field day on Thursday wishing Sehwag and Sidhu on their birthday with lot of comical tweets and poetic one-liners that is normally associated with the former cricketers.

As for Sidhu, his impromptu-catchy liners are referred to as 'Sidhuism', while Sehwag refers to his humorous liners as 'Viru ka gyaan'.

"Alag soch, alag lay, na jaana kabhi tumne bhay. Tarika aapka paisa vasool, saalgirah ki duaen kijiye kubool [sic]," tweeted Harsha Bhogle, veteran cricket commentator and expert, to Sehwag to wish him on the day. "A man of boundaries who knows no boundaries. A soft desi who knows how to hit hard. A humorist to be taken seriously. Happy Bday Virender Sehwag," wrote poet and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas.
