"Captain America: Civil War" has been garnering a lot of attention — for the obvious reason that it is a face-off between two most popular superheros. But it's not just this, fans have also been looking forward to getting more dope on the supervillians to be featured in the movie. And now, the latest clue has been dropped by Daniel Brühl, the actor portraying Baron Zemo.

"Captain America: Civil War" is expected to feature a more conventional supervillian in the form of evil Nazi scientist Baron Zemo. Daniel Brühl has teased that the villain will be different from the comics and revealed more about his character in his interview with Business Insider.

The "Inglorious Bastard" actor said that Baron's appearance in the film will be very different from that of Marvel's comic books. Brühl revealed that unlike in the comics, the version of Zemo that he is portraying will not be wearing his signature purple hood, which forms part of his body after a super-adhesive that he invented spills onto his face.

"He does not wear the mask. You would be surprised, it's different than what you'd think. It's loosely connected to this character," he said.

The talented actor also said that since Zemo is a villain from the World War II, a former Nazi mad scientist, his background doesn't go quite well in a contemporary setting. Bruhl says the makers have found an interesting way to modernise his character and fans will get a Baron Zemo very different from what they have been expecting.

"But that's what I like about the Marvel guys, some of the characters and things they're dealing with always reference to current events so my character is from a different area than you would think," he shared.

We will know how well this brand new, modernised Baron Zemo will go down with the fans only when "Captain America: Civil War" hits theatres on 6 May, 2016 in the US and on 29 April, 2016 in the UK.
