Camilla Parker-Bowles absence raised many eyebrows, as she did not make it to Queen Elizabeth's Christmas church service. Prince Charles' wife did not join the royal family for the annual tradition as she is suffering from a minor back injury. She has been advised to rest and this is one of the reasons, she was forced to break the Christmas tradition.

"Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall will not attend the traditional family church service at Sandringham, St Mary Magdalene Church, on Christmas Day," according to Clarence House spokesperson's statement, reported Inquisitr. "The Duchess put her back out earlier in December and has been in pain and is receiving physiotherapy. The doctors have advised against any travel."

Apart from Bowles, almost all the royal family members were present at the royal mass. However, Middleton and Prince William's one-year-old son Prince George also skipped the Christmas mass service

Meanwhile, the royal couple also broke a Christmas tradition by not attending the Queen's dinner at Sandringham, as per Inquisitr. All the royal family members are supposed to attend the dinner, but Middleton and Prince William flew back to their countryside home in Norfolk, soon after the royal Christmas service. They reportedly had dinner with the Middletons, Kate's brother James Middleton and sister, Pippa Middleton.

Prince William and Kate now prefer staying away from the hustle-bustle of the city life. They have been renovating their countryside house for a long time. They reportedly plan to stay there and raise Prince George. Kate is also expecting her second child. She is currently five months pregnant and is due to give birth to a second royal baby in March.

It is still not known whether it is a girl or a boy. There have been various rumours in the past, which have suggested that the royal couple may welcome a baby girl this time. However, nothing is confirmed yet in this regard.
