Romance rumours linking Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift have been heating up, and recent reports claim that the DJ thinks Swift could be the one.
Harris is apparently so enamoured by the southern belle and the pair looked comfortable in each other's company at Kenny Chesney's concert in Nashville recently. The two have not confirmed rumours they are dating, but there are pictures of them holding hands and canoodling.
"Taylor is exactly what Calvin needs in a girlfriend," a source told HollywoodLife. "She's a wholesome, big-hearted southern belle who will do anything for her man, and that's really what he likes in a woman."
"After years of playing the field, in-between some long-term relationships, he's quite ready to settle down now. In that sense, she's the perfect influence on him because she longs for the same thing."
The Swift-Harris romance rumours started doing the rounds soon after the BRIT Awards, where the duo was reportedly holding hands and touching in a romantic way, according to reports. At the time it was reported that Harris wants to take things further than just flirting.
Interestingly, Swift and Harris have been spotted out and about on more than one occasion since then, cementing dating rumours.
The music duo was also spotted outside a Nashville Whole Foods Market recently, and according to a young fan, the pair appeared to be enjoying each other's company.
"Yes for sure they looked like a couple, she had her arm intertwined in his while they shopped in the produce department," the source said. "Taylor looked really happy and was really friendly to fans who approached her. They both were laughing and seemed to be enjoying each other's company."
Harris is reportedly impressed by Swift's levelheadedness, and how she has not let fame get to her. Swift is reportedly unlike any of his previous girlfriends, and he feels the duo has a real shot at genuine love.
"Calvin was pleasantly surprised how unaffected by her fame Taylor is and just how normal she can be," the first source said. "She's a very genuine person and Calvin admires that trait because she could so easily be another spoiled diva given her success."
