Players entering Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on the Holidays are in for a surprise in the form of a special helmet. Developer Sledgehammer Games announced that players who will be logging in to the game during the holidays will be getting an exclusive gear in the multiplayer mode.

The offer is available from 22 December 9 am PDT to 26 December 2014 9 am PDT. Players will be getting KVA Paramilitary Helmet as a reward. The post also promises other items from the KVA Paramilitary Character Gear Set that will be made available for players as loot items via Supply Drops.

Upgrade to Xbox One and Play Free

Microsoft has announced that players who have a copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Xbox 360 version can upgrade the digital copy of the game for Xbox One, free of cost.

"Activision and Sledgehammer Games are rolling out the red carpet for you," says the post. This offer is valid till 31 Marc 2015.

All the progress and stats that were in Xbox 360 will be transferable in the Xbox One version too. Not only that players will also be able to upgrade the DLCs. Microsoft has seen to it that players get all the gears and maps that they got in the previous version.

Meanwhile, Sledgehammer has also released a trailer for the game's survival co-op experience DLC, Exo Zombies. Exo Zombies will be arriving along with Havoc DLC in January 2015.
