'Bruce Lee The Fighter' (BLTF) 1st weekend box office collection: Charry's film grosses Rs 28+ crore in 3 days

Ram Charan's "Bruce Lee - The Fighter" has done good business at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box office in the first weekend, but its three-day business is not upto the expected mark.

"Bruce Lee - The Fighter" had a very good amount of advance booking for its opening day. The film released in 1000 screens in both the states and received an earth shattering response with average occupancy crossing 90% everywhere. The movie collected Rs 16.55 crore at the AP/T box office on the first day and became the biggest opener for Ram Charan.

The Srinu Vaitla-directed action movie was expected to maintain rock-steady pace on Saturday, but word of the mouth had an adverse effect on its business. Having witnessing over 65% drop, "Bruce Lee - The Fighter" grossed Rs 5.60 crore at the AP/T box office on the second day.

The business of "Bruce Lee - The Fighter" has continued to decrease in most of the regions across both the states on Sunday as well. As per early estimates, the movie has grossed approximately Rs 6+ crore at the AP/T box office on the third day and its first weekend total gross total stands at Rs 28.15 crore.

"Bruce Lee - The Fighter" has reportedly been made on a whopping budget of Rs 37 crore and its the theatricals of AP/T regions were sold for a fancy price of Rs 40.85 crore to various distributors. The movie is estimated to have earned about Rs 21 crore for the distributors, who have been able to recover over 50% of their investments on the movie in three days.
