The trailer of Akshay Kumar-Sidharth Malhotra starrer "Brothers" has received a humongous response from viewers.

Released on 10 June, the two minutes 54 second clip has garnered more than eight million views on YouTube.

Producer Karan Johar took to Twitter to share the big news. "The #Brothers trailer at 8 million!!! #BrothersAreComing #august14," he tweeted.

Directed by Karan Malhotra, "Brothers" is the official remake of 2011 release Hollywood film "Warrior", which had Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton in the main roles. The film will revolve around two estranged brothers, who come across each other in a martial arts tournament.

"Brothers" features Jacqueline Fernandez in the female lead role and will hit the screens on 14 August 2015.

Besides "Brothers", the trailer of Sunny Leone's "Ek Paheli Leela" received more than 8.2 million views within 10 days of its release. Akshay Kumar's "Baby" received more than seven million views, while Ranbir Kapoor's "Roy" trailer received more than six millions views.

Meanwhile, the teasers of Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" and "Raees" have already garnered more than four million views each within a short period of time.

In other news, the makers of "Brothers" have released a new song, titled "Brothers Anthem", featuring both the lead actors. Crooned by Vishal Dadlani and composed by Atul-Ajay, the song features both the actors gearing up for the tournament.
