British skier shares afterlife experience; claims to have seen a peaceful forest

An afterlife experience shared by a British skier named Rihanna is now the hottest debating point among spiritualists and medical experts. The near-death experience victim (NDE) revealed that the incident associated with afterlife happened in February 2012 when she was skiing with friends at the St Anton ski resort in Austria.

While skiing, Rihanna collided with another skier, and she fell down. She later started tumbling along the slope, and then a giant wash of snow covered her, which later turned out to be an avalanche.

"Our crash was so powerful, it created a massive fracture in the mountain and forcing a ledge to break off, setting off an avalanche which pushed me 200m down. But suddenly I stopped moving and all I could feel was this weight. Heavy snow just stopping me from moving, seeing and thinking. I could feel everything, but within seconds I couldn't breathe. I was just focusing on breathing. I tried to scream, but it became apparent that no one could hear me. So I decided to stop breathing. And everything became so peaceful," Rihanna told the Sun.

Initially, Rihanna thought that she was witnessing a dream but later realized that she was dead, and then started the mysterious afterlife experience. Rihanna claimed that she saw everything as a bright day during the near-death experience. The NDE victim revealed that she walked along the pathway of a pale forest with evergreen trees on either side during the afterlife experience.

"I started walking along a pathway in this peaceful, pale forest. It had big tall evergreens on either side. Everything was as bright as day. Weirdly it was so calming, and it looked like there was some kind of snow on the ground but not like snow as we know it," added Rihanna.

As Rihanna's afterlife testimonial went viral on online space, spiritualists have started claiming that life after death is a reality, and people used to start their eternal journey only after death. However, medical experts have dismissed the afterlife angle, and they made it clear that the survival technique adopted by the human brain during life-threatening events is resulting in these visual hallucinations.

A few days back, a woman named Catherine had claimed that she saw God during a near-death experience. The NDE victim also revealed that God she saw during afterlife was wearing a crown made of lapis lazuli and pearls.
