Check out the box office collections report of Bipasha Basu's "Alone," Vikram's "I" and Arjun Kapoor's "Tevar."

Alone

Bipasha Basu-Karan Singh Grover's "Alone" has failed to pick up on the second day of its release at the Indian box office.

"Alone" minted ₹4.50 crore on Saturday (18 January), while its two-day collections stood at ₹9 crore at the domestic box office, according to Koimoi. The film received mixed reviews from critics and the audience alike. It opened on a dull note on the day of its release and failed to see any growth on the second day.

If it continues to fare in this manner, the Bipasha starrer is expected to end the first weekend with a collection of ₹15 crore at the Indian box office.

Directed by Bhushan Patel, "Alone" is a horror flick with Bipasha playing conjoined twins. Karan and Zakir Hussain are also part of the film, which is a remake of the 2007-Thai film "Alone."

"I"

"I," directed by Shankar of "Robot" fame, has witnessed decent growth in its collections on the second day at the domestic box office.

The Vikram-starrer has raked in approximately ₹4.50 crore in two days at the domestic box office. The film is expected to do good business on Sunday and end the first weekend on a high note.

However, the performance of the Hindi version is lower compared to Tamil and Telugu versions. The film is doing exceptionally well in south India, while its performance in overseas markets has been decent.

Directed by Shankar, "I" is a romantic thriller with Vikram appearing in different looks. The film has Amy Jackson playing the female lead, while Tamil actor Santhanam, Bollywood actor Upen Patel and Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi are also part of the film's cast.

Tevar

Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha's "Tevar" has witnessed drop in its collections in the second week owing to new releases "Alone" and "I." The film, which hit the screens on 9 January, had an average opening at the domestic box office.

The film's performance has remained low in multiplexes, while it has done decent business in mass circuits. "Tevar" has fetched ₹36 crore in eight days at the Indian box office, reported Koimoi. With Akshay Kumar's "Baby" gearing up for release next week, the Arjun starrer is expected to witness drop in box office collections.
