"Tanu Weds Manu Returns", which was released on 22 May, is enjoying a good run on its first week. On its fifth day at the box office (Tuesday), the movie made impressive business and its collection in India has reached ₹8.20 crore.

According to industry analyst Taran Adarsh, box office collection of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" has reached a total of ₹ 55.25 crore in India and the film is now expected to cross the ₹100 crore mark in its second weekend, becoming the first Bollywood movie of 2015 to do so in India.

The response, which the latest Kangana starrer has received, is a rarity as a typical Bollywood movie's collection drops on weekdays when compared to weekends. But, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" is enjoying a good run on weekdays as well.

Meanwhile, the impressive run of Kangana's movie has severely affected the strong run of Deepika's movie "Piku". Though the collection of the movie on its third weekend was strong, it dropped eventually on Monday and later slowed down further on Tuesday.

On its third Saturday and Sunday, "Piku" collected ₹2.40 crore and ₹2.75 crore, respectively. But, the collections dropped down to ₹92 lakh on Monday and then to ₹85 lakh on Tuesday.

However, the total collection of the film has reached ₹73.49 ensuring a super hit status. Whether the film will enter the ₹100 crore club at the Indian box office is something we will have to wait and see.
