Much has been said and shocks expressed after Jinder Mahal became the WWE Champion at Backlash 2017, defeating veteran Randy Orton. Of course, Jinder, the Canadian pro-wrestler with Indian roots, achieved the win, thanks to help from Sunil Singh and Samir Singh.

Still in the dark about who they actually are? Well, let us come as a rescue.

Currently known as the Singh Brothers, their latest ring name, the midgets (if we can refer to them by that, owing to their little size) originally started out in the WWE via the Cruiserweight Classic (CWC) tournament, which is now called 205 Live.

Pro-wrestling legend Daniel Bryan, for one, was a judge when Gurvinder Sihra (Sunil Singh) and Harvinder Sihra (Samir Singh) participated in the competition as the 'Bollywood Boyz' team.

In an exclusive interaction with International Business Times, India, last year, Daniel Bryan had mentioned that the Bollywood Boyz had a promising career in the WWE.

We used to do shows in Vancouver DC and that's when I met them [Gurv and Harv Sihra]. I have been following them for long since they were kids, but they are not kids anymore. I think they are great. The way they blend fighting with entertainment is tremendous.

As for me, I feel the audience will really love seeing the Bollywood Boyz in action. They are just a sheer pleasure to watch.

The Cruiserweight Championship 2016 tournament

The 'Bollywood Boyz' were one of the 32 participants in the knockout pro-wrestling competition organised by the WWE in 2016. Participants with a billed weight of less than 205 pounds fought it out.

TJ Perkins (currently known as TJP), was the winner.
