In what could be yet another case honour killing, Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district police have found the bodies of a young man and a woman on railway tracks near the Dorala railway police station limits, on Monday.

As per PTI reports, the youth, identified as Vivek Kumar (22), who was pursuing his polytechnic course in a city college, had gone missing since Saturday. The identity of the deceased woman, who is probably about 20-years old, has not been revealed yet.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem and the police are closely studying the case.

This comes close on the heels of another case of honour killing that shook the people of Muzaffarnagar. On New Year's Eve, a 19-year-old girl was allegedly killed by her father and other family members for going against them and continuing with her relationship with a boy who belonged to a different.
