Bigg Boss Tamil 2 elimination: Danny out of Kamal Haasan's show

Daniel Anne Pope aka Danny's journey in Bigg Boss Tamil 2 has come to an end on Sunday, September 2. He is the ninth contestant to be eliminated from Kamal Haasan-hosted Tamil show after Mamathi Chari, Ananth Vaidyanathan, Nithya Balaji, Ramya, Shariq Haasan, Ponnambalam, Vaishnavi and Mahat Raghavendra. Janani Iyer and Thadi Balaji were the other two contestants who were in the danger zone, but in the end Daniel got lesser votes than the other two for his stay in Bigg Boss Tamil 2. Danny weds Denisha pics are here.

However, the elimination process was quite different this time as the the three inmates were asked to perform a few tasks before announcing the name of the contestant, who would be leaving the house this week. 

Firstly, the three inmates were asked to find a green egg in a case of eggs and Balaji found it, thereby turning safe this week. In the second task, Danny and Janani were locked inside a cage and the other inmates were asked to find a proper key to unlock the doors.

The inmate, whose cage gets unlocked first would be safe this week. Sendrayan successfully unlocked Danny's cage, but to the inmate's surprise Kamal Haasan stated that it was not Janani, but Danny was eliminated from the show this week.

Danny was one of the favourites to win the Bigg Boss Tamil trophy this season and his participation in the tasks never came under question, but as the game progressed, he lost the momentum. The audience started hating him at some stage claiming that he was a cunning contestant, who misuses every contestant for his advantage in Kamal Haasan-hosted show.

However, the news has not come as a surprise as the poll conducted by the International Business Times, India had clearly shown that Balaji would be out of the show this week. 

Danny got highest votes when compared to the other inmates like Janani Iyer and Thaadi Balaji. He received 39.4 percent of votes for his elimination this week from our readers.

Thadi Balaji was in the second place by getting 34.1 percent of votes and Janani Iyer was in the third place by getting 26.48 percent of votes. Usually, the vote difference between the first and the remaining contestants will be huge, but this time there was some competition among the three for the eviction.

The initial trends showed that Danny would be eliminated easily as he got a huge number of votes, but later Balaji and Janani occupied the first two places. Towards the end, the voting gained momentum and Danny got the maximum votes for the Bigg Boss Tamil elimination from our readers.
