Bigg Boss Marathi: Here is 15-member contestant list of Mahesh Manjrekar's show [Photos]

After becoming successful in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali and Tamil, Bigg Boss format has now entered the Marathi television. Well, the first season of the show was launched on Sunday, April 15 with Bollywood's popular filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar hosting the show.

The inaugural episode was launched with the smashing entry of Mahesh Manjrekar on Colors Marathi. The host gave the glimpses of the house to the viewers while introducing the contestants one after the other.

The Bigg Boss house has been designed with Marathi culture in mind. The show will be aired Monday to Saturday at 9:30 pm while the Sunday episode will telecast at 9 pm.

The channel has picked the contestants from the Marathi and Bollywood movies and Hindi TV shows. Here, we bring you the complete list of the participants with their photos. 

Bigg Boss Marathi - Contestant No. 01 - Resham Tipnis

Resham Tipnis is an actress who has worked in movies like Baazigar, Jai Ho, etc. She predominantly acts in television soaps and part of serials like Satrangi Sasural, Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny among many others..

Bigg Boss Marathi - Contestant No. 02 - Vineet Bhonde

Vineeth Bhonde is a Marathi actor and a popular comedian, who is part of Zee TV's popular show Chala Hawa Yeu Dya. He is said to be a vertically challenged actor.

Bigg Boss Marathi - Contestant No. 03 and 04 - Aastad Kale and Jui Gadkari

Jui Gadkari too works in Marathi serials and have been part of the shows like Bajirao Mastani and Majhiya Priyala Preet Kalena among a few others. Aastad Kale and Jui Gadkari are the on-screen couple in daily soap Pudhcha Paul. There were reports in 2017 that they did not share good rapport off the screen and it has to be seen how they bond inside the Bigg Boss house.

Bigg Boss Marathi - Contestant No. 05 - Anil Thatte

Anil Thatte is a former journalist who used to reportedly run a publication called Gaganbhedi in 80s and 90s. He is known for weird fashion sense. He is often spotted with luxurious cars and presently a self-proclaimed guru.

Bigg Boss Marathi - Contestant No. 06 - Smita Gondkar

Smita Gondkar works in Marathi and Hindi movies. Her career in films begun with Mumbaicha Dabewala and has been part of films like Mr and Mrs Unwanted, Main Hoon Rajinikanth, Gadbad Gondhal among others. She is also a professional biker and a semi-finalist in MTV Stunt Mania in 2009.

Pushkar Jog started his career as child artiste in the Hindi films like Hum Dono, Aisi Bhi Kya Jaldi Hai and Aazmaish.
