The makers of controversial TV reality show "Bigg Boss" unveiled the promo of the ninth season on Sunday (6 September) and the CEO of Colors channel Raj Nayak also shared the much-awaited promo on his Twitter handle featuring host Salman Khan.

The video starts with Salman talking about "double trouble", hinting that this time "Bigg Boss 9" will be tougher than its previous seasons. However, the short video didn't reveal much regarding the format of the show.

Going by the promo, it appears like much like previous seasons, "Bigg Boss 9" will entertain viewers with heavy doses of drama, controversies, love and friendship.

Further, with Salman returning as the host for the sixth time, viewers can expect a great deal of entertainment on the show.  Last year, Salman had to quit the show midway due to his work commitments and was replaced by filmmaker Farah Khan.

"Bigg Boss 9" is likely to start from 11 October, soon after "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded" wraps up.

However, the latest buzz is that the most-watched TV reality show will not be aired during a prime-time slot. Apparently, this time the show will be telecast at 10.30 pm instead of its usual time of 9 pm.

With the release of the promo, the makers have increased the curiosity of the show's fans regarding the list of contestants who will enter the Bigg Boss house this year.
