One of the most anticipated events in the run up to the E3 2015 was perhaps Bethesda Softworks' first press conference on 14 June, which raised great interest among fans with the announcement that it will have a full reveal of Fallout 4, an upcoming post-apocalyptic game.

It was being speculated that Bethesda E3 2015 press conference will consist of Fallout 4, Doom and Dishonored 2 game, and it came true. Not only was Bethesda's first outing successful, it has also won the hearts of its fans.

Below are the different features of Fallout 4 that were revealed during the press coverage:

Fallout 4 Gameplay

Bethesda has reiterated that "player freedom" is paramount in Fallout 4, and hence fans can do whatever they want and go wherever they want.

As speculated earlier, the game will also mark the return of the first and the third person mode gameplay.

Players will be reminded of Fallout 3's gameplay, since it is similar to that. There will be no change in the targeting system that was existing in Fallout 3, as seen in the demo video.

As revealed in the teaser trailer, Fallout 4 will allow dog, billed "wasteland companion" to accompany the character as his/her companion. Players can "guide" it, giving it "commands" by pointing at the things at a certain direction and "activating" them.

Fallout 4 Customisation and Character Details

The Fallout 4 game will allow for dynamic world, where players can create the character of their choice.

Bethesda revealed that the game will run on next- generation of Creation engine that will feature physical base rendering and Dynamic Volmetric lighting.

One interesting revelation that garnered instant cheer from the E3 audience was the ability to play as a female character. The game will feature an enhanced "dynamic" character customisation feature that will allow players to change the body features by "selecting the part of the face and sculpting." It provides a range of options with respect to facial features including nose, hair, eyebrows, chin, body colour, facial hair and lips.

It revealed that the dialogue too was "dynamic," allowing players to walk away anytime they want or even "shoot him in the face!"

And yes, your character can run. Not just over a small distance, but throughout the game. One news report terms this feature at a "minor selling point for newcomers" and goes on to say that this was feature that was "left out" in Fallout 3. Bethesda promises its players most "ambitious and detailed game world" that the company ever created, allowing them to roam the vast ruins of downtown Boston. Fallout 4 will allow players to choose their own combat style. A picture inset in the tweet below show a Jet Pack.

Fallout Crafting

It has also confirmed that players will be able to craft their own operational base. This would entail players crafting almost anything from power networks, houses, and different shelters. Any scrap material that has been picked up by a Fallout 4 player will enable them to build different kinds of items. The game will be featuring more than Fallout 4 features over 50 base weapons and 700 modifications to those weapons. It will also allow players to modify their power armours.

Players will be able to build and decorate (the interiors) of their home in real time, thanks to the engine. They can also build houses for their wasteland companion.

Players need to build turrets or other defences around their settlements since its liable for attacks from the Raiders.

The game will allow players to build large sites and players can run Brahmin caravans between their settlements.

Bethesda noted that this feature is an optional part in the game.

Fallout Release Date

After we saw a range of dates popping up from various retailers, Bethesda has confirmed the release date of Fallout 4. The game will be out on 10 November, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Bethesda revealed at its press conference a collector's edition for Fallout 4, also called the Pip Boy Edition. Fallout fans might madly want what Bethesda is offering for this edition: A wearable Pip-Boy (around wrist) with a digital screen (players will be able to place their cell phones in the area and use it as second screen app).

Apart from the wearable Pip-boy, the image that has surfaced online shows the following things that this edition will contain:
