Nikhil Siddharth's Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is set to rock the box office this weekend, as the release of two new big-ticket films Bethaludu and Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam have been postponed.
G Nageswara Reddy's Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam starring Allari Naresh and Kruthika Jayakumar is a horror-comedy film, which is about a guy who comes as a ghost buster to a haunted house to rescue a family and banish the spirit. The movie was initially slated to release in theatres on November 11, but it was postponed following a ban on the notes with the denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000.
Bathaludu is the dubbed version of Tamil film Saithan, which has been written and directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy. This psychological thriller film, which features Vijay Antony and Arundhathi Nair in the lead roles, was initially scheduled to be released on November 18. But the movie has now been postponed due to demonetisation policy of the central Government.
Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is one of the most-awaited Telugu movies of 2016. This romantic thriller has been written and directed by Vi Anand and produced by PV Rao under the banner Meghana Arts. Nikhil Siddharth is playing the lead role, while Nandita Swetha and Hebah Patel appear in the female leads. Sekhar Chandra has composed the music and Sai Sriram has handled the cinematography.
Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada has completed the formalities of the regional censor board and received a U/A certificate. The movie is now gearing up for a grand release on November 18. Its promos have garnered lot of public attention for the film, which is expected to do well at the worldwide box office.
However, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada had big threats in the form of Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam and Bathaludu. But with both the films postponed, the way is cleared for the Nikhil Siddharth-starrer to rock the box office. Its business is likely to be affected by the demonetisation policy.
