Restoring faith in American television networks, many worthy shows like "The Fall", "The Fosters" and "The Musketeers" have been renewed for a third, promising season.

The drama series "Being Mary Jane" created by Mara Brock Akil, starring Gabrielle Union in the titular role has been renewed for a third season. The show, which was originally meant to be titled "Single Black Female", revolved around successful broadcast journalist Mary Jane, brought to life by the enigmatic Union. The news of renewing BET's most successful series ever was announced just two days after the show debuted its second season. The show airs on Tuesdays at 10.00 pm on BET.

The BBC series "The Musketeers", based on Alexandre Dumas's novel "The Three Musketeers", has also been renewed for series three. The lead characters of the show have found their ground over the last two seasons and fans have realised that they love to hate Marc Warren's Rochefort. The renewal is favoured by fans who can mostly likely see the series 3 of "The Musketeers" by January 2016. The filming for the same begins in April 2015 in the Czech Republic.

"The Fosters", a show that breaks stereotypes of what a family should be, and won a GLAAD Media Award for its depiction of a same-sex family, has been renewed by the ABC family for a third season. "The Fosters" joins a host of other scripted TV shows including "Babby Daddy", "Melissa and Joey", "Switched at Birth", "Pretty Little Liars", "Chasing Life", "Stitchers", "Recovery Road" and "Young and Hungry", to be renewed by the Disney-owned cable network.

Psychological thriller "The Fall" that airs on BBC Two, will also be back with third season, along with Gillian Anderson as Superintendent Stella Gibson and "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan as serial killer Paul Spector. BBC has also released a teaser-trailer for the season 3 of "The Fall".
