Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has opened to packed shows and rave reviews in the UAE.
The film directed by Kabir Khan hit screens at the UAE box offices on 16 July, i.e. ahead of Eid al Fitr 2015. The film has recorded more than 90% occupancy on its first day at the box office, thanks to advance bookings.
"The interest has been extremely positive. All shows over the Eid weekend are close to being sold out. We are releasing the film across all our 10 cinemas in standard, MAX, – our big screen concept, and VOX Gold – our luxury cinema concept," Gulf News quoted a multiplex theater's spokesperson as saying.
The craze of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is so high that it has pushed down SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" in the Gulf region. Screen count of "Baahubali" declined after the release of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
Salman starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has recorded a bumper opening in the Middle East, according to Twitter buzz.
Also, moviegoers who watched the film at the theaters in the UAE have given positive feedback. Even celebrity Kamaal R Khan aka KRK, who is also a trade analyst and film critic, posted positive review of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
