Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has finished its three weeks run at the domestic box office with second highest net income. The third week box office collection of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is second highest after Aamir Khan's "PK".

While Salman starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" earned Rs 30.06 crore in its third week in India, "PK", which is still Bollywood's highest grosser, earned Rs 41.61 crore in its third week.

"[Wk 3] Fri 4.11 cr, Sat 6.80 cr, Sun 9.07 cr, Mon 2.75 cr, Tue 2.63 cr, Wed 2.45 cr, Thu 2.25 cr. Total: ₹ 302.31 cr. ATBB," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The box office collection of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" dropped in the third week due to lesser screen count and facing competition from big releases. In its third week, Ajay Devgn starrer "Drishyam" was released, which affected the screen count of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

However, "PK" enjoyed non-stop three weeks run as no major movies were released during that time. Also, "PK" benefited from the New Year holidays and maximum screens.

Meanwhile, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is now set to shatter "PK" distributor share record. According to Box Office India, Salman's film's distributor share is approximately Rs 152 crore and "PK" share is approximately Rs 161 crore.

If "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" maintains a decent hold at the box office in its fourth week, it will shatter the distributor share record of "PK".

Meanwhile, here is a break up of third week earnings of "PK" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan":
