Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to launch the first song of his film "Bajirao Mastani" on 15 September in Pune.

The film's first track 'Gajanana', will have a grand launch at the Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex, Balewadi Stadium. Reportedly, a mosaic image of Lord Ganesha will be formed that will be 195ft huge and is set to create a Guinness World Record, according to Bollywood Life.

This biggest formation will be created by 5,000 students who have been called from across the country. Also, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are expected to perform live for the track. 

To celebrate 'Ganesh Chaturthi', the song launch has been timed two days before the main festival. Singer Sukhwinder Singh has lent his voice to the song.

"All the songs in the movie are the highlights of it (the film) Gajanana is one such song, and is inspired by the Gajanana aarti. What better way to launch it than to welcome Lord Ganesha before the festivities begin?" Bollywood Life quoted Deepika as saying.

Ranveer too said, "It is spiritual, uplifting and signifies the magnanimity of the film."

After Bhansali's "Ram Leela", the couple is back on the big screen to re-create their chemistry in this period drama which will hit theatres on 18 December.

The film, which is SLB's most ambitious project, is based on the love story of warrior Peshwa Baji Rao, played by Ranveer and his second wife Mastani, played by Deepika.

Priyanka Chopra will be seen playing Baji Rao's first wife, Kashibai.
