Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra's face off song "Pinga" from their upcoming film "Bajirao Mastani" has been released.

The larger-than-life dance number features the two actresses in traditional Maharashtrian attire. In the song, the duo performed lavani (Maharashtrian dance form).

Choreographed by Remo D'souza, "Pinga" is said to have been shot in Mumbai over 10 days.

It seems the director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, tried to recreate the popular dance number "Dola Re" from the film "Devdas" which featured Madhuri Dixit Nene and Aishwaruya Rai Bachchan.

However, this song from "Bajirao Mastani" couldn't create the same magic but watching Priyanka and Deepika dancing together is a treat for their fans.

While Priyanka performed Lavani gracefully, Deepika looked stunning in the traditional attire.

"Bajirao Mastani" also features Ranveer Singh, who is playing the role of Peshwa Bajirao. Deepika plays the role of "Mastani", while Priyanka will be seen as Bajirao's first wife Kashibai.

The period drama is based on the love story of Peshwa Bajirao and Mastani. However, the story of Bajirao's troubled first wife Kashibai is an important part of the film, too.

The film will be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's "Dilwale" as both the flicks are releasing on 18 December.
