Deepika Padukone surely is the woman of the moment of the Hindi film industry. A string of successful films behind her and a plum role in an international project are all things dreams are made of.

While the actress has neither denied nor confirmed the news of her landing a film with Vin Diesel, she responded to the buzz positively.

"You will know soon. He is a friend. And he is someone I am extremely fond of. And more than anything else, he is an amazing person. But about everything else that everyone wants to know, you will know soon," Bollywood Life quoted her as saying.

As anyone would imagine, milestones such as these are of crucial importance in an actor's life. Cashing in on the situation, Deepika has apparently doubled her fee.

Soon after the film deal with Vin was finalised, she requested her team to up the fee, The Asian Age reported.

Which means, she could earn as much as Rs 11 crore from a brand endorsement deal alone.

However, this isn't the first time that Deepika's name has been dragged into such news.

After the success of "Piku", there were rumours that she had asked her manager to hike the fee in way that it would match any top male actor's remuneration.

In other news, Deepika's viral photo with Vin was made fun of by "Housefull 3" actors – Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan.
