Although "Bachelor" star Chris Soules and his fiancée Whitney Bischoff's decision to call off their engagement last month created a lot of chatter, the duo refrained from explaining why they went their separate ways.

However, rumours have been rife that Soules' closeness to his "Dancing with the Stars" partner Witney Carson could have caused a strain in their relationship, and this news gained momentum recently, thanks to a Page Six report that hinted that there could be some truth to these romance rumours.

Recently, the farmer from Arlington, Iowa, was spotted at a hotel in New York where he was heard telling friends that "he received a text from 'Whitney' that included a photo and heart emojis."

While it wasn't immediately known it Soules was referring to Bischoff or Carson, chances are that he could have been talking about his "Dancing With the Stars" partner, as per reports.

Even if the duo is dating, Celeb Dirty Laundry believes that Soules and Carson are unlikely to admit to their relationship anytime soon, as this would prove that Carson was responsible for breaking up Bischoff and "Prince Farming" Soules.

Sadly, talks of Carson and Soules' closeness have been rampant ever since the "Bachelor" star became a part of the ABC dancing reality show.

According to an earlier Life&Style report, Bischoff believed that Soules and Carson were hooking up during their time on "Dancing with the Stars," and she is even said to have screamed at him for allegedly being unfaithful.

"He and Whitney would spend 14 hours together a day, dancing and grinding up on each other," a source told the tabloid.

But many believe Carson to be innocent, as she once said she would love to choreograph Soules and Bischoff's wedding dance when they eventually walked down the aisle.

In a statement released to the media announcing their split, Bischoff and Soules, too, noted that they were parting as friends, and that they have no bad blood between them.

"They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends," the statement said. "They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey."
