Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, who has often stayed in the limelight, has expressed his anger over Bollywood hero Aamir Khan and his latest release, "PK". On Sunday, Ramdev has asked people to boycott the film, which is said to have hurt religious sentiments.

Ramdev slammed the makers of the romantic comedy entertainer, while he was in Mumbai to condone the death of one of his followers' mother. He said that the film has "degraded" the Hindu "culture and religion".

"It is the hobby of so-called famous people to insult and disrespect gods, goddesses and Hindu saints. This is not right," he added, according to Daily Mail. He has also asked the Hindu devotees to unite and protest against the movie.

"Muslims and Christians are in majority around the world and yet they are united. Hindus should also stay united whenever a question is raised on their religion and culture," he added.

However, despite demands of the Hindu groups, the Censor Board on Monday has refused to remove any scenes from the film, as it has already been released worldwide.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time the Aamir starrer has stirred controversy. Earlier, an FIR was registered against "PK" with similar claims under Indian Penal Code Sections 153A, 295A by Hindu Legal Cell and All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front, against director Rajkumar Hirani, Aamir, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sidharth Roy Kapur.

Various social media pages were also opened, asking people to boycott the film. However, the Supreme Court had rejected the ban and said: "If you don't like it, don't watch the film. Don't bring religious facets here. These are matters of entertainment. If you restrict it, it will affect others' rights. Everything is on the internet. What will you hide?" said Cheif Justice of India RM Lodha.

Meanwhile, Aamir-Anushka Sharma starrer is making good business worldwide and has become the highest grosser of 2014, within 11 days of its release.
