A priest from a temple in Haryana's Fatehabad has been arrested on Friday after videos of him raping several women surfaced online. The accused has been identified as 60-year-old Baba Amarpuri, whose real name is Amarveer, of Baba Balaknath temple, located in the Tohana area.

The Times of India reported that he allegedly raped around 120 women and filmed all the incidents on camera using his cellphone. He would use the clips to blackmail the women and repeatedly rape them. The police have so far found 120 clips, each of a different woman.

"We filed a case and started the probe. His premises were also raided and we seized some suspicious articles," said a police official to ANI. He is now in police custody, where he will remain for five days as the case against him is built.

The crimes came to light when a relative of the accused came to the police station with a CD of the clips, which lead to his arrest. Later, two victims came forward and said that they are ready to record statements against Baba Amarpuri. The police have filed a case against him under various sections of the IPC including rape and insulting a women's modesty.

As per the two victims, who have not given their names, Baba Amarpuri claimed to have knowledge of occult practices, and trapped women claiming to treat them for any problems. He allegedly intoxicated them before raping the unsuspecting women inside a room with cameras.

Baba Amarpuri was also booked in a rape case nine months ago when a women accused him of sexually molesting her inside the temple premises.
