The business of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 has slowed down at the Tamil Nadu box office. The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati-starrer has managed to earn over Rs 4 crore between Monday-Thursday (May 22-25.) The two-weeks total gross collection of Baahubali 2 now stands at Rs 124.5 crore in Tamil Nadu. It is the highest-ever earning movie in the state. It pushed down Rajinikanth's Enthiran, which had minted Rs 106 crore in 2010, to the second place.

The net income of Baahubali 2 is Rs 103.9 crore. The distributors' share stands at Rs 67.5 crore. Sri Green Productions had acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for Rs 47 crore.

Looking at the current trend, Baahubali 2 is expected to gross over Rs 135 crore in its lifetime at the Tamil Nadu box office.

Baahubali 2 was released in over 400 screens in four languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam – on 28 April in Tamil Nadu. On the first day, the movie earned Rs 10.25 crore. The early morning shows were cancelled due to the financial issues between the distributor and the producer.

The film is bankrolled by Shobu Yarlagadda. Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty have played the female leads in the two-part Baahubali series.

Meanwhile, the worldwide gross collection of Baahubali 2 has crossed Rs 1500-crore mark. The first instalment had minted over Rs 600 crore.
