Baahubali 2 8-day box office collection: Prabhas-starrer earns Rs 110 crore profit for distributors

Prabhas' Baahubali 2 (Bahubali: The Conclusion) has made brilliant collections at the worldwide box office in eight days and earned a huge profit share of over Rs 100 crore for its global distributors.

The SS Rajamouli-direced movie collected Rs 887 crore gross in the global market in its opening week. Since there were no big ticket releases from any Indian language film industry, Baahuabali 2 continued to rock the box office on its second Friday. The movie ran to packed houses in many centres across the globe even on its eighth day.

Baahubali 2 is estimated to have collected Rs 60 crore gross at the worldwide box office on its second Friday, taking its eight-day total collection to Rs 947 crore gross in the global market. It has become the first movie to surpass the mark of Rs 900 crore in the history of Indian cinema.

The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati-starrer was made with a whopping budget of Rs 250 crore and it fetched Rs 350 crore from the sale of its global theatrical rights. Baahubali 2 has earned Rs 460 crore for its global distributors in eight days. Besides recovering the investments, the movie has also fetched them a massive profit share of Rs 110 core.
